Mental health nurses fulfil a wide range of roles in the community and are often referred to as Community Mental Health nurses (CMHNs), although previously were often referred to as Community Psychiatric nurses (CPN’s).


They work across a variety of environments including Gp surgeries, health centres, people’s own homes. 

They will provide care for Children and young people, working age adults and older age adults
